WeFeelFootball: The Golden Path to Global Football Transformation

The Stroka Business Group once again proves its innovative power. At this year's Innovation Awards of the Carinthian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on May 27, 2025, we received a gold award for our breakthrough solution WeFeelFootball (WFF) and qualified for the national level. This is our fourth innovation award, confirming our commitment to technological solutions that bring change to traditional industries.

Transforming Football Talent Discovery

WeFeelFootball is the world's first digital platform for uniformly testing and assessing the potential of young footballers in the U10-U19 categories. At a time when traditional scouting is based on subjective assessments and limited to geographical regions, our platform introduces a new dimension of objectivity and accessibility.

"Everyone does it their own way" was a common complaint from coaches from different countries we met during the development process. This fragmentation of methodologies was a key inspiration for the creation of the platform, which now connects clubs, players, coaches and scouts from different countries in a single, standardized environment.

Technological Innovation with AI Potential

As an IT company with a vision of "AI to the people," we have integrated advanced technologies into WeFeelFootball that lay the foundations for the future use of AI in sports analytics. The platform combines the Internet of Things (IoT) for accurate data capture via photocells, advanced analytics for ranking and visualizing results, and cloud-based infrastructure for secure data storage and accessibility. A key innovation of our solution is the development of advanced algorithms that enable future:

• Predictive analytics: artificial intelligence algorithms that identify complex patterns in players' development and project their trajectories
• Hidden Potential Detection: machine learning that identifies talented players who would otherwise go unnoticed
• Improving training: data that enables personalized training to maximize the development of each individual

A Methodology That Sets New Boundaries

The methodology is based on recommendations from football experts from leading Slovenian and European clubs and the Football Association of Slovenia. The platform enables comprehensive player profiling with morphological data, uniform test results and subjective coach assessments in key areas—all within a secure personal data environment.

The distinctive feature of the approach is the combination of objective measurements with advanced analytical tools that enable:

• Dynamic filtering and sorting of data
• Analyzing trends over time
• Unbiased comparison between players in different geographies
• Data visualization for intuitive understanding of potential

Global Reach and Sustainable Approach

The platform is already showing results in international markets. With deployments in Slovenia (MNZ Maribor, NZS, NK Maribor), Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and first projects in China, we are building a global network of unified talent discovery.

Our approach also brings significant sustainability benefits. While traditional scouting requires extensive travel between countries by players and scouts, the WFF enables centralized testing with remote access to uniform data. The result is a 94% reduction in carbon footprint compared to traditional approaches.

We use hybrid and electric vehicles for local testing, and our offices are powered by our own solar power plant. By going digital, we reduce the need for paper and other material resources, while helping to reduce screen time for young people by encouraging active participation in sport.

Reducing inequalities between clubs with different financial capacities is also a key sustainable impact, as standardized data allows equal access to information on talent. Instead of focusing on expensive transfers, the platform encourages the long-term development of local talent.

Multidisciplinary Approach and Vision for the Future

The development of WeFeelFootball is the result of a collaboration of experts from sports management, data science, informatics and football. Our team includes licensed coaches and collaborates with the University of Ljubljana's Faculty of Sport and the Institute of Sport. This collaboration of experts from different fields allows for a deeper understanding of end-users' needs and technological possibilities.

Our vision goes beyond football—the WeFeelFootball platform is part of the wider WeFeelSport ecosystem, which will extend the methodology to basketball, tennis and other sporting disciplines. We are building a global network where standardized data enables talent discovery regardless of geographic or socio-economic boundaries.
